HOW WE WORK
You'll always know what's happening. Always.
Most agencies treat their process like a trade secret. We treat ours like a promise. Here's exactly what happens from the moment you reach out to the moment your product goes live.
THE PROCESS
Five steps. Zero surprises.
Every Dev Empire project follows this process — whether you're building an MVP, a web app, a mobile app, or an AI integration.
Free discovery call
A free 30-minute call. No pitch, no slide deck. We ask what you're building, who it's for, and what you want it to cost.
You get an honest answer — including if we think another team suits you better.
What you need to prepare
A rough idea of what you want, when you need it, and what you can spend. No spec needed.
What happens next
A follow-up email within 24 hours with scope and next steps.
Scoping & proposal
We turn the call into a written scope: every feature, screen and integration, with a fixed price and a fixed date.
Read it, ask questions, change what you want. Nothing starts until you approve it.
What you receive
Scope document · Fixed price · Timeline with milestones · Contract
What happens next
You sign, pay the first milestone, and we start.
Design & architecture
We design every screen in Figma before writing any code — desktop and mobile. You see what your users will see.
Two rounds of changes are included. We don't start building until you sign off.
What you receive
Figma file with every screen · Component library · Architecture document
What happens next
You approve the designs. Building starts the next Monday.
Development & weekly updates
We build in two-week sprints. From week 2 you get a live staging link, so you can watch your product take shape.
Every Friday you get a written update. You message the developer directly — not an account manager.
What you receive
Written update every Friday · Staging link from week 2 · Direct developer access
What happens next
We build until every feature in the scope is done and tested.
Testing, launch & handover
We test every feature on every browser and device, then plan launch day with you.
You get the code, the documentation, every password, and a walkthrough call. Plus 30 days of free support.
What you receive
Live product · Full code repository · All passwords · Documentation · 30 days of support
What happens next
You're live. We check in on day 7, 14 and 30.
DELIVERABLES
Concrete outputs at every stage
You are never waiting for something vague. Here is exactly what you receive at the end of each phase.

|---|---|
| Discovery call | Written follow-up email · Honest project assessment · Recommended approach |

COMMUNICATION
No radio silence. Ever.
The number one complaint about software agencies is that they go quiet. We've designed our entire communication structure around preventing exactly that.
Weekly written update — every Friday
An email every Friday: what got built, what's next, any blockers, and where you stand against the scope. Good news or bad, before the weekend.
Direct access to your developer
You message the developer building your product, on Slack or WhatsApp — not an account manager. Never more than one message from someone who can answer.
Watch your product being built
From the end of week two you have a URL running your actual product. Not screenshots — a live build you can test and share.
Response within 12 hours
We reply within 12 hours on weekdays. Our hours are Mon–Fri, 9am–7pm PKT, so a message sent in your evening is usually answered by your morning.
We tell you first
A blocker, a timeline risk, an integration harder than scoped — you hear it immediately, with a proposed fix attached. Never blindsided.
OUR GUARANTEES
Three things we put in writing
These are not marketing claims. They are contractual commitments that every Dev Empire client receives.
What we quote is what you pay.
The price changes only if you change the scope. No hidden fees, no mid-project surprises. If we underestimated the work, that cost is ours — not yours.
We deliver when we say we will.
Your delivery date goes in the contract. If you change the scope, we agree a new date together before we carry on. You will never find out late.
Every line of code belongs to you from day one.
From the first commit you own the repository, the architecture and the documentation. No licence fees, no lock-in. Take it to any developer, any time.
OUR TOOLS
A professional setup for every project
These are the collaboration and project management tools we use on every engagement.
Editor access from day one. Comment on anything, and the files are yours at handover.
Every commit visible from day one. The repository transfers to your account at handover.
Every push updates your staging URL automatically. Production goes to Vercel, AWS, or wherever you prefer.
A dedicated channel or group, whichever you prefer. All project chat in one place.
Linear for technical teams, Notion for everyone else. You see what's in progress and what's next.
Short screen recordings for complex features — faster than a written description, clearer than a document.
