MVP DEVELOPMENT
Your MVP should be live. Not in planning.
Every week you spend planning is a week your competitors spend learning from real users. We get your Minimum Viable Product live in 3–4 weeks — fast enough to validate your idea before your runway runs out.
THE PROBLEM
Why most MVPs never launch
The MVP graveyard is full of products that died in development. Not because the idea was bad — but because the build took too long, cost too much, or tried to do too much.
Most founders make the same mistakes. They build the full product instead of the minimum viable one. They hire a large agency that takes 3 months just to produce a proposal. They spend their first $50,000 on features their users never asked for.
The result: by the time the product is ready, the market has moved, the budget is gone, or the founder has lost faith in the idea.
An MVP is not a half-built product. It is a precisely scoped product that does one thing exceptionally well — enough to get real users, real feedback, and real validation. Dev Empire has built enough MVPs to know exactly what to include and, more importantly, what to cut.
HOW WE BUILD
The 3–4 week MVP process
Scope workshop
Day 1The most important meeting of your project. We sit with you — founder to developer — and ruthlessly prioritise. What is the single core value your MVP must deliver? What features support that? What can wait for V2? The output is a lean, agreed scope that we can build in 3–4 weeks without cutting quality.
Design sprint
Days 2–5We design fast. Within 5 days you have complete UI/UX designs for every screen in your MVP. This is not wireframes — this is a high-fidelity design that shows exactly what your users will experience. One round of revisions included.
Build
Weeks 2–3We build your core feature set with production-quality code. No shortcuts. The architecture is designed to scale — because a successful MVP becomes a real product and we want that transition to be seamless, not a rewrite.
Test & launch
Week 4QA, bug fixes, deployment, and handover. Your MVP is live, your analytics are configured, and you're ready to start acquiring your first users.
TECH STACK
Fast to build. Built to scale.
We choose technologies that let us move fast without creating technical debt. Everything we build for your MVP is production-ready and scalable — so when your idea is validated, V2 is an evolution, not a rewrite.
React & Next.js
Why: Fast development, excellent performance, and a massive ecosystem of components. Your MVP will load fast, rank well in search, and feel polished from day one.
Node.js & Next.js API Routes
Why: Rapid API development with the same language as the frontend. We can build and iterate quickly without context-switching between languages.
PostgreSQL or MongoDB
Why: Chosen based on your data model. We discuss this during scoping and recommend the right fit — not the familiar one.
Clerk or NextAuth.js
Why: Authentication is not where you want to spend your MVP budget. We integrate a production-grade auth solution in hours, not days.
Vercel
Why: For MVPs, Vercel is the fastest path from code to live. Global CDN, automatic HTTPS, zero server management. You focus on users, not infrastructure.
TIMELINES
What fits in 3–4 weeks?
Here is what a realistic MVP scope looks like at each timeline.
3 weeks — Lean MVP
Landing page with waitlist, simple booking tool, basic marketplace, single-feature SaaS
- ·Up to 8 screens
- ·1 user type
- ·Core feature only
- ·Basic auth
- ·Email notifications
4 weeks — Full MVP
Multi-feature SaaS, two-sided marketplace, consumer app with social features
- ·8–15 screens
- ·2 user types
- ·Core + supporting features
- ·Payment integration
- ·Dashboard
What we push to V2
Admin panels, advanced analytics, complex reporting, third-party integrations beyond 2, mobile apps, multi-language support. These are V2 features. Your MVP doesn't need them to validate the core idea.
WHAT TO EXPECT
What a typical MVP build looks like
Scope determines timeline. This reflects a standard 4-week full MVP engagement.

Dev Empire guarantee
Your MVP will be production-quality code, not a prototype. The architecture is designed to scale from day one — so V2 is an evolution, not a rewrite. You are not paying twice for the same product.
